Tourist Visa
Note: Applicants under 18 years old - both parents or the legal guardian must present a copy of their passports, copy of the minor's birth certificate, a notarized travel authorization signed by both parents or the legal guardian, proof of legal guardianship (if applicable) and evidence of financial solvency. Both parents must also sign a minor's application form
Business Visa
- Original, signed U.S. passport - must be valid for atleast 6 months containing at least 1 blank visa page.
- 2 fully completed and signed Visa Application Forms
- 2 Passport type photographs
- Completed Order Form (A-1 request for passport/visa)
- 2 copies of your passport vital data pages
- 2 copies of return airline ticket or travel agency itinerary
- 2 copies of company letter(Sample) of intent and financial responsibility typed on the company's stationery stating the following:
- Purpose and date of travel and duration of stay.
- Name and address of the contacts/company to be visited and nature of the business.
- Financial responsibility for the applicant as well as return transportation to U.S.
- This letter must be signed by a superior within your company other than the applicant
- Your letter must be addressed to:
Embassy of Paraguay, Visa Section, Washington D.C.
A-1 Service Fee:
$55.00 per visa
Consular Fee:
$65.00 Per Visa (single entry visa valid for stay up to 90 days, processing time: 5 business days)
$100.00 Per Visa (multi entry visa valid for stay up to 90 days, processing time: 5 business days)
Include credit card authorization, a check or money order payable to "A-1 Passport & Visa Express " for A-1 handling fee per visa, plus Embassy Consular Fee per visa, and return postage or Shipping Fee.
Shipping Fees for return of your passport:
- $23.00 - Fed Ex Letter (Priority Overnight – up to three passports delivered next day)
- $26.00 – Fed Ex Letter (Priority Overnight – 3-5 passports delivered next day)
- $35.00 – Fed Ex Letter (Saturday Delivery)
Please note that the above rates apply to most Continental USA. Higher rate applies to Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and US Virgin Islands.

Your documents will be hand-carried to the consulate/embassy and is usually processed in 5 business days. Your visa will be valid for 90 days from the day of issuance. The Consulate General of Paraguay does not offer rush processing.
