U.S. Citizens do not require a visa for entry to this country for a stay up to 90 days. A valid U.S. Passport is required.

Tourist Visa

• Original, signed passport - must be valid for atleast 6 months containing at least 1 blank visa page.
  
  
• 1 fully completed and signed Visa Application Form
  
  
• 1 Passport type photograph
  
  
• Completed Order Form (A-1 request for passport/visa)
  
  
• Photocopy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card)
  
  
• Copy of Airline Tickets or Travel Itinerary
  
  
• Proof of medical insurance valid in Romania for the duration of the stay
  
  
• Proof of sufficient funds at $100.00 per day for the duration of stay (copies of travelers checks or bank statement).

Business Visa

• Original, signed passport - must be valid for atleast 6 months containing at least 1 blank visa page.
  
  
• 1 fully completed and signed Visa Application Form
  
  
• 1 Passport type photograph
  
  
• Completed Order Form (A-1 request for passport/visa)
  
  
• Photocopy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card)
  
  
• A company letter(Sample) of intent and financial responsibility typed on the company's stationery stating the following:
  
  
• Purpose and date of travel and duration of stay.
• Name and address of the contacts/company to be visited and nature of the business.
• Financial responsibility for the applicant as well as return transportation to U.S.
• This letter must be signed by a superior within your company other than the applicant
  
  
• Your letter must be addressed to:
  
  Embassy of Romania, Visa Section, Washington D.C.
  
  
• Official Invitation required for some nationals

A-1 Service Fee:
$55.00 per visa

Consular Fee:
$40.00 Per Visa - Single Entry
$75.00 Per Visa - Multiple Entries

Include credit card authorization, a check or money order payable to "A-1 Passport & Visa Express " for A-1 handling fee per visa, plus Embassy Consular Fee per visa, and return postage or Shipping Fee.

Shipping Fees for return of your passport:

• $23 – Fed Ex Letter (Priority Overnight – up to three passports delivered next day)
• $26 – Fed Ex Letter (Priority Overnight – 3-5 passports delivered next day)
• $38 – Fed Ex Letter (Saturday Delivery)
