Passport

• • Original, signed U.S. passport – must be valid for at least 6 months containing at least 1 blank visa page.

• • Completed two-page Order Form

Proof of Travel and hotel confirmation

• Copy of round trip airline tickets or itinerary, or letter of confirmation from travel agent as well as hotel confirmation.

Visitors Visa

• • Letter of Invitation from host in Mozambique or a copy of hotel confirmation.

Business Visa

Company Letter

• A company letter of intent and financial responsibility (Sample) typed on the company’s stationery stating the following information:
  • This letter must explain all of the nature of business to be performed
  • Name and address of reference in Mozambique to be visited
  • Financial responsibility for the applicant including return airfare.
  • The letter should be signed by an officer/manager of the company other than the applicant

  • Important Notice

  • All Mozambique visas must be used within the first 60 days from the date of issue or it will expire and it will not be usable for travel.
  • At the present time, the consulate of Mozambique is only accepting applications on Tuesday and Thursdays – The processing time is now 15-20 days and cannot be expedited.
  • Visa on arrival is not possible to this country and visas must be issued prior to travel.

A-1 Service Fee:

Standard fee: $145

Rush fee: $250 (only if allowed by the consulate)

A fee of $5 for money order/check writing fee will be added to the consulate fees.

Please be advised that the shipping fee for some states are slightly higher than the ones mentioned above. Your receipt should indicate the fee differences also the above rates apply to most Continental USA. Higher rate applies to Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and US Virgin Islands.

Note: The embassy is closed on Fridays, no submissions or collections.
