Tourist Visa

Passport

• • Original, signed U.S. passport – must be valid for at least 6 months containing and at least 1 blank visa page.

Applications

• • 2 Application Forms, fully completed, signed, and notarized

Photos

• • 2 Passport-type photos

if traveling to GBAO or Pamir region, you’ll need to submit a letter requesting a permit to enter those area. the cost of the permit is $50 over and above the regular visa fee.

A1 Order Form

• Completed two-page Order Form

Additional Requirements

• A Letter requesting a tourist visa addressed to The Embassy of Tajikistan or  Private visit – If visiting friends and family, they will need to write an invitation letter and have it stamped and approved by the department of foreign ministry and email that to you.

Business Visa

Company Letter

• • A company letter of intent and financial responsibility typed on the company’s stationery stating the following information (Sample):
    • Introducing the applicant, stating the applicant’s position with the company.
    • Purpose of trip and a brief description of type of duties to be performed
    • Name of company/contacts
    • Financial responsibility for the applicant including return airfare.
    • A letter of invitation from Host Company or organization in Afghanistan are sometimes required by the embassy, however this is not always required.
  • Please address your letter to:

Additional Requirements

• A visa support letter from Tajikistan confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or

A-1 Service Fee:

$125.00 per visa – regular 5-7 business day processing

$155.00 per visa – Rush processing only if permitted by the embassy

Consular Fee:

A fee of $5 money order/check fee will be added to all visa fees.

The consular fee doubles for urgent service.
