  • MINORS: Need a copy of birth certificate – Notarized letter of consent from both parents and copy of both parents passports (data pages)

Company Letter

    • A company letter of intent and financial responsibility (Sample) typed on the company’s stationery stating the following information:
      • Introducing the applicant, stating the applicant’s position with the company.
      • Purpose of trip and a brief description of type of duties to be performed
      • Name of company/contacts
      • Financial responsibility for the applicant including return airfare.
      • The business letter should be signed by a company officer other than the applicant.
      • Please address your letter to: Embassy of Nigeria, Visa Section, Washington D.C.
    • Letter of invitation from company to be visited in Nigeria

Additional Requirements

  • Religious visitors and missionary workers will require per-approval from the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Nigeria

Your documents will be hand carried to the consulate. The reqular processing is around 5-7 business days. Processing time may be longer depending on the embassy’s workload. (The Embassy of Nigeria is closed on Fridays)
