Step 1: Collect Documents

Please be informed that all Tanzanian are now issued as eVisa and the processing time is around 5-10 days from the date of submission.

Tourist Visa

Passport

    • Email a clear copy of the information page of your passport in jpg/photo format. Note that your passport must be valid for at least 1 year when applying for a visa to Tanzania.

Application

Proof of Travel and Hotel confirmation

    • A clear copy of round trip airline itinerary or tickets along with a copy of your hotel confirmation.

Photos

    • 1 passport photo emailed to us in jpg/photo format

A1 Order Form

Tourist Consular Fee:

$100 Per Visa – Multi entry for stay up to 90 days (processing time 5-10 business days)
Please note that Tanzanian tourist e Visa for US passport holders will be valid for 1 year starting from your date of your travel, it is good for multiple entries for stays up to 90 days on each visit.

A $5 money order/online transaction fee will be added to to each visa fee.

Business Visa

A1 Order Form

Company Letter

  • A company letter of intent and financial responsibility (Sample) typed on the company’s stationery stating the following information: Introducing the applicant, stating the applicant’s position with the company.
    • Purpose of trip and a brief description of type of duties to be performed
    • Name of company/contacts
    • Financial responsibility for the applicant including return airfare.
    • This letter should be signed by an officer or a superior within your company and not the applicant.
  • Please address your letter to:
    • Embassy of Tanzania, Visa Section, Washington D.C.

    • A1 Order Form

    • Business Consular Fee:

    • $255- Per Visa – Single entry for stay up to 90 days (10 business days processing)
    • All visas issued to U.S. citizens are valid for 1 year. A $5 money order/online transaction fee will be added to to each visa fee.

    • Meeting and Conference Visa

        • 1 Application Form, fully completed and signed

        • Proof of Travel

            • Copy of round trip airline tickets or itinerary, or letter of confirmation from travel agent.

      Photos

    • Invitation Letter

      • A letter of invitation from your inviting party in Tanzania. Your invite letter must have the full information about the company you’ll be visiting including the name, address, phone number and signature of the invite. This letter must describe the exact nature of your trip including your name, gender, date of birth and the address where you’ll be staying in Tanzania as well as the dates of your entry and departure and financial responsibility for the applicant while in Tanzania.

      • A1 Order Form

    • Meeting and Conference Consular Fee:

      $255 – Multi entry for stay up to 90 days

      All visas are valid for 1 year. A $5 money order fee will be added to to each visa fee.

Step 2: Fees

A-1 Service Fee:

$125.00 Per visa for 5-10 days processing

Tanzania visa Fee:

$100 for tourism or business visa – A $5 transaction fee and 3% processing fee will be applied to all credit card processing
